A lagoa mais conhecida de Betim, Várzea das Flores aumentou o nível depois do período de chuva. Chegou a atingir 77,7% da sua capacidade no mês de dezembro. Em 2017 o nível alcançado foi de 36,2%. Este ano superou a expectativa.
